At eBookSelf, we sell digital ebooks, which are delivered instantly after purchase. Because digital content cannot be physically returned, this policy explains when a refund may be granted and when a sale is considered final.

1. Nature of Digital Products

• All ebooks sold on eBookSelf are digital products.

• Once purchased, ebooks are instantly added to your “My Library” and are accessible immediately.

• Due to the downloadable and consumable nature of digital content, returns are not possible.

2. Refund Eligibility (Within 7 Days)

Although most digital sales are final, a refund may be approved within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:

1. Technical Defect

   • The ebook file is corrupted

   • Pages are missing

   • The file cannot be opened on supported devices despite following our instructions

2. Incorrect or Misleading Description

   • The content is significantly different from the description or preview shown on the product page.

3. Duplicate Purchase

   • The same ebook was accidentally purchased more than once using the same account within 24 hours.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

• ❌ Change of Mind after purchase or download

• ❌ Device Incompatibility (unsupported device or software)

• ❌ Partial or Full Reading

  • If more than 10% of the ebook has been accessed, downloaded, or read

• ❌ Violation of Terms

  • Attempts to copy, share, or misuse digital content

These rules exist to protect authors’ intellectual property.

4. Refund Process

Step 1: Submit a Request

Email support@ebookself.in with:

• Order ID

• Registered email address

• Reason for refund

Step 2: Review

• Our team reviews file access logs and technical data

• Review completed within 48 business hours

Step 3: Refund Method (If Approved)

• eBookSelf Wallet Credit: Issued instantly

• Original Payment Method: Reflected within 5–7 working days (as per RBI and banking timelines)

5. Cancellation Policy

Pre-Orders

• Pre-ordered ebooks can be cancelled any time before release for a 100% refund.

Instant Purchases

• Once the “Download” or “Read Now” button is clicked, the order cannot be cancelled.

6. Abuse & Fair-Use Policy

• Repeated refund requests or suspicious activity may result in refund restrictions or account review.

• eBookSelf reserves the right to deny refunds to prevent misuse or piracy.
